Very nice teacher! Happy with my perfume.
The luxury in-villa workshop is the most considered experience we offer. Every element has been designed to match the standard of the villa you are staying in — the ingredients, the facilitation, the packaging, and the pace. This is not an activity. It is an afternoon that stays with you.
The difference between our standard in-villa workshop and the luxury format is not simply price — it is depth. The luxury experience extends the session to three hours, opens the rare ingredient palette, introduces one-on-one time with our master perfumer, and produces a keepsake that is genuinely handcrafted rather than packaged. Every decision made during the session — fragrance direction, ingredient selection, label text, packaging style — is made by you, guided by someone who has spent years learning the craft.
The session opens with an ingredient story tasting: small samples of key botanicals presented on a card with the story of each one's origin, harvest, and character. This is not a sales process — it is an education that shapes the creative decisions to follow. The master perfumer then works with you one-on-one for the central blending session, asking questions, sharing knowledge, and adjusting the palette in response to your instincts. A private label design session follows: name, typeface, and any personal inscription. The finished perfume is presented in a handcrafted gift box with a calligraphy card inscribed with your chosen text.
The luxury workshop uses ingredients from our rare collection that are not available in standard sessions. Wild-harvested Thai ylang-ylang from southern Thailand, jasmine absolute sourced from Chiang Rai, oud and agarwood extracts, and our Phuket-exclusive sea air and coastal accord are all available as part of the luxury palette. The master perfumer advises on how each ingredient behaves in a blend — their intensity, their evolution over time on skin, and their relationship with other notes.
The luxury workshop produces a 30ml perfume in a weighty glass bottle with a custom label designed and inscribed during the session. The bottle is placed in a handmade kraft and linen gift box with a calligraphy card. The card documents the occasion, the fragrance name chosen by the participant, and the date. Supplementary packaging — ribbon, tissue, wax seal — is available in a choice of colour palettes. The finished box is designed to be given as well as kept.
Three add-ons are available exclusively for the luxury villa format. A dedicated butler from the villa or from our hospitality partner attends the session throughout — managing drinks, adjusting the environment, and ensuring the pace remains unhurried. A lifestyle photographer documents the session from setup through to the finished keepsake, producing a set of images suitable for personal use. The Thai botanical tea ceremony pairing introduces a curated selection of herbal teas made from the same botanical family as the ingredients used in the session — an unexpected sensory extension of the perfume experience.
We have delivered the luxury workshop format at private villa estates across Kamala, Surin, Bang Tao, Nai Harn, and Cape Yamu. Villas range from intimate three-bedroom properties to large estate villas with dedicated event spaces. References from villa managers and guests are available on request. If you are staying at a property we have not visited before, we conduct a brief pre-arrival site check with the villa manager.
She had chosen the villa for the view — the kind that makes you want to stay inside and look at it rather than go anywhere. The workshop came to her. By the end of the third hour, she had a 30ml perfume that began with jasmine and sea air and settled into something warmer and more private than either. The master perfumer suggested the oud — one drop, she said, not more. She named it after the view. The calligraphy card sits inside the box. She told us she reads it every time she opens it.
Share your villa, dates, and any preferences. We'll confirm our master perfumer's availability and prepare a luxury workshop proposal.
