A private group workshop means no strangers, no shared timetable, and no compromise on the experience. Your group books the session, chooses the workshop, picks the venue, and leaves with something that belongs to you and no one else.
A private group workshop is a Herbsmetics session reserved exclusively for your group — no other participants, no public schedule. The facilitator works only with your people, at the pace your group sets, in the venue you choose. It is the same quality of materials and facilitation as any Herbsmetics session, but designed entirely around the occasion you are celebrating rather than a generic activity slot.
Perfume workshops have become one of the most popular hen party activities in Phuket for good reason: they are creative without being competitive, sociable without being loud, and they produce a keepsake the bride takes home alongside the memories. The bride receives a bespoke final bottle — her fragrance, her name, her occasion. Everyone else blends their own. Prosecco service, styling, and photography can be added to make the session feel like the event it is.
Whether the birthday is a 30th, a 50th, or something in between, a private workshop gives the occasion a creative anchor that sets it apart from a dinner or a spa day. The birthday person gets a personalised scent named after them, a label inscribed with their birth year, and a group message card inside the keepsake box. Cake coordination, champagne, and photo packages are available to complete the celebration.
Every private group session is shaped around four decisions. First, the workshop type: perfume blending, candle and balm making, or a combined format. Second, the fragrance direction: tropical floral, fresh oceanic, warm spice, or entirely freeform. Third, styling: we offer themed decoration packages for bachelorette, birthday, and celebration sessions. Fourth, keepsakes: standard take-home packaging or upgraded branded options with custom labels, foil printing, and presentation boxes.
Private group workshops can be held in our Phuket studio (up to 25 pax), at your villa or holiday rental anywhere in Phuket, or aboard a yacht or catamaran for groups up to 20. The studio is our most flexible venue with all materials and setup already in place. Villa sessions offer the privacy and atmosphere of your own space. The yacht option adds a location that makes the story of the session as memorable as the workshop itself.
Private group workshops accommodate groups from 4 to 30 participants depending on venue. Studio sessions start from ฿1,800 per person with a minimum group size of 4. In-villa sessions start from ฿2,400 per person with a minimum of 2 participants. Yacht format pricing starts from ฿2,800 per person with a minimum of 4. Styling packages, photography add-ons, and upgraded keepsake packaging are quoted separately based on your requirements.

Studio private groups can often be accommodated with 48–72 hours' notice subject to availability. In-villa sessions need at least 5 days for logistics coordination. Yacht sessions require a minimum of one week. Peak season dates (December–February, Songkran) should be booked 3–4 weeks in advance.
Yes — you are welcome to bring your own decorations, banners, and drinks for studio and villa sessions. We ask to be notified in advance so we can accommodate the setup timing. We can also arrange decoration packages and drinks service through our partners if you prefer.
Absolutely. Perfume and balm workshops work well for any group composition — mixed ages, mixed backgrounds, no prior experience needed. The session is designed to be equally engaging for the most and least creative person in the group.
